Dear animal lover,

It could be that you find a “fresh” animal that has been killed or has simply died. You decide to have it mounted by a CERTIFIED preparator.

What should you do?

Put the animal in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer.

Bring the animal directly to us and we will start the conservation process.

Think about how you want the animal to be mounted, bring a sketch or an idea.

If you wish, you can provide the pedestal on which the animal should be placed so that we can attach it to it.

Before you do that, you need to contact an RVO (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland) registered approved preparer, Bernd van Amelsfoort is one of the few approved taxidermist. He will then also register the animals for you with the RVO. This opens the way to legally prepare your animal.

During the process we will have personal contact with you, and we will also agree the price with you in advance so that there is no more or less work.

The normal turnaround time for us as carvers is about 6 to 8 months. This is because of the good preservation of the skin and a long drying process after the preparation.

Payment; always 50% within 14 days after submission of the animal, the remainder upon collection.
